Learn, Review, Overstudy, Read

Four ways to work on the same lines, from guided to free.

Learn

An arrow shows your move and the coach explains the ideas. Use it the first time you meet a line.

Review

No arrow: you play the line from memory once it is due. This is the drill that sets the next review.

Overstudy

Drill lines you already know, whenever you like. Their schedule only changes if the drill fails: more than half the moves missed, or a single one with Strict grading.

Read

Step through the moves and comments at your own pace, and try other moves on the board. Nothing is scored.

Key Moves

In a session, you are only asked the moves from where a line branches off the lines scheduled before it in the same chapter, skipped ones included. The shared moves replay by themselves, unless you pick Jump to my move under Skipped moves.
